NASA Ames Field Trip (September 10th, 2023)

Team 100 was given the opportunity to visit the NASA Ames Research Center in Silicon Valley (our very own back yard)! Our students got to tour the NFAC (National Full-Scale Aerodynamics Complex), ask questions, and learn from our amazing tour guides. The scale of this facility is absolutely astounding, with 60 tonnes of air being pushed through the 80x120 ft wind tunnel. We are so grateful to the folks over at NASA for giving us this wonderful experience, it was a great opportunity to learn about cool innovations in our area.
