Mentors and Volunteers
Mentors and volunteers are irreplaceable members of the Team 100 family.
Team 100 operates with guidance and support from many experienced mentors who dedicate their time and expertise to our students helping them be confident, self-sufficient, safe, and successful. With backgrounds in electrical and mechanical engineering, software development, and physics our mentors have professional experience at places like Google, Intel, Boeing, and Exponent. Mentors also work with our student business and media teams to support the development of clear communications materials for award submissions and public relations. We have been fortunate to have many Wildhat alumni and parents return as mentors throughout the years, bringing their wealth of FRC experience to newer team members.
It takes more than technical expertise to support the robotics team. Parent volunteers also provide essential support to the team, helping with many needs including transportation, travel arrangements, and meals. Volunteers with wide-ranging skill sets contribute to our operation, and all our volunteers have one thing in common - a willingness to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to keep our team moving forward.
