2012 Rebound Rumble

The Challenge
The 2012 “Rebound Rumble” robotics game is played with two Alliances, each consisting of three teams. Each Alliance competes by trying to score as many of the foam basketballs in the four different hoops as possible during the two-minute and 15-second match. Balls scored in higher hoops score teams more points. Team Alliances are awarded bonus points if they are balanced on bridges at the end of the match.
This year we have designed a robot that has ball-intakes on both sides and a 360-degree turret-shooter at the top. Weight is a big issue this year, and it is crucial that the robot stay within the limits. The programming is in C++, which we have never done before. We are looking forward to the Silicon Valley and Sacramento regional competitions this year! Good luck to our competition!
We're looking forward to travelling to Davis for our first competition in 2012.
Silicon Valley RegionalThis regional is right in our own backyard but we know the competition will be tough.
ChampionshipsWe are really looking forward to participating in this year's championships!
